My experience at Colour Shak, a haircut, was pleasant enough. As a male I prefer not to go to barbers and the Colour Shak did a great job on my hair and the hairdresser was very pleasant and attentive. However I discovered later that I could have had a wash which was within the price but not mentioned. Then when I was charged, a few dollars was added to my bill. This was for the owners own beliefs in conservation and 'saving the planet'. I should be given a choice as the owners politics aren't necessarily shared by others.

Bella was very professional and friendly, I felt at ease with her from our first POC when I booked the appt in person with her. She was very easy to communicate with, she listened and explained the salons services and processes as it was my first visit. Although it's a quite a bit more expensive than what I like to pay, the salon seems high end with how you are treated and the hand scrub/treatment was a nice touch. Loved my foils and blow dry and very happy with the outcome. Have booked for a blow-dry next week for a wedding. Thank you🤗

Hannah is a amazing hair stylist . So friendly and done a amazing job!!!! She went above and beyond duty. All the other ladies were absolutely Fabulous as well! My personal rating for all the staff is 1000/10. I felt like a million dollars after the appointment.

Tia is absolutely fantastic! Her experience and passion shines through in all she does! Her colour knowledge is exceptional. The salon is lovely and everyone is very friendly.

Having moved to this area recently, I needed a fabulous hairdresser who understood my type of hair and the challenges I face. I found The Colour Shak online and have been very impressed with their service. The staff are warm and welcoming and very knowledgeable. Tia is my awesome hair expert, she knows just what to do to make my hair (& me) look & feel amazing! She is magic with a pair of scissors and really brings out the best in my hair and is officially my hair dresser of choice. The after care advice and products they offer are well thought out and suitable for my hair type and style (they don’t try and upsell expensive useless products). I highly recommend The Colour Shak for colours, treatments and cuts.

Amazing experience during a 9hr colour correction. Eliza is amazing and listens to your needs whilst keeping you informed of the process step by step. My hair looks and feels amazing. All the staff at the salon are so welcoming and friendly. 💯 recommend The Colour Shak if you want your hair to look and feel amazing. No damage and no breakage, very happy!

Very happy with colour and cut. Hannah really knows what she's doing. I feel like a new woman. The soothing head massage with eye pillow and peaceful background music at the comfy basin was so blissful.
